Art Pro Audio XDirect Active Direct Box Connects Unbalanced Instrument, Line, or Speaker Signals to Balanced Inputs

Art Pro Audio XDirect Active Direct Box Connects Unbalanced Instrument, Line, or Speaker Signals to Balanced Inputs

Original price was: $64.99.Current price is: $59.99.

The ART XDirect is a single-channel active direct box for balancing instrument or line sources. Quarter-inch TRS and XLR inputs feed a transformer-isolated XLR output plus a parallel quarter-inch thru connection to an instrument amplifier. Switches offer 0/−20/−40 dB attenuation, low-pass filtering, ground lift and polarity inversion; the active circuit runs on phantom power or a nine-volt battery. Unlike the passive ZDirect, XDirect requires a compatible power source for its active stage and provides an additional XLR input.

Art Pro Audio USB DI USB Direct Box Digital-to-Analog Conversion and Balanced XLR Outputs

Art Pro Audio USB DI USB Direct Box Digital-to-Analog Conversion and Balanced XLR Outputs

Original price was: $109.00.Current price is: $89.99.

The ART USB DI is a USB digital-to-analogue direct box for routing computer playback to a PA or mixer. Its USB 2.0 Type-B input converts computer audio to two transformer-isolated balanced XLR outputs; a 3.5 mm monitor output lets an operator check the signal. ART documents bus-powered class-compliant operation, output level selection, ground lift and digital playback rates of 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz. It plays digital audio from the computer into analogue outputs; it does not capture a microphone for USB recording.

The ART PDB4 is a four-channel passive rackmount direct box for instruments and other compatible unbalanced audio sources. Four quarter-inch inputs feed independent transformer-isolated XLR outputs and individual parallel thru jacks. Each channel has its own 0/−20/−40 dB pad and ground-lift control; the chassis fits a 1U rack. Confirm the output level of each instrument or external amplifier before setting the pads; passive operation requires no mains power.

The ART dADB is a two-channel active direct injection box for connecting two guitars, keyboards or other unbalanced sources to balanced mixer inputs. Each channel has a high-impedance quarter-inch input, a thru connection and a balanced XLR output, with individual attenuation, polarity, low-pass filter and ground-lift switches. Manufacturer documentation identifies two independent active DI paths with −20/−40 dB pads. Determine source signal level and microphone-input phantom supply before wiring each channel; use the thru sockets only for intended instrument feeds.
