Description

The BlackVue CL-3P1 is a plug-in dashcam power lead designed for the specified BlackVue X-generation recording units. It avoids direct fuse-box wiring when a suitable accessory socket is available.

Powering a supported camera

  • Connects a suitable vehicle 12V accessory socket to a compatible BlackVue camera power input.
  • Model-family compatibility includes selected DR970X, DR770X, DR750X, DR900X and DR590X devices.
  • Provides power while the socket has electricity; a switched socket may turn off with the ignition.

Important parking-mode distinction

For extended parking recording, check whether your vehicle socket remains powered and whether the camera and battery-protection system are configured appropriately. A plug-in lead does not itself provide parking-mode battery isolation or a dedicated auxiliary battery. Route the cable away from controls and airbags and verify the exact model in BlackVue’s compatibility chart.
