The Axxess AX-ADXSVI-MB1 is a radio interface harness for selected 2001–2004 Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The MB1 variant is associated with a specific earlier Mercedes factory radio connection and is not a universal adapter for all Mercedes audio systems. Confirm whether the factory system uses analogue wiring or an optical amplifier/network, because that changes the required integration method.

The Axxess AX-ADXSVI-FD1 is a aftermarket radio interface harness for selected 2007-onward Ford vehicles. The FD1 connector pattern supports certain Ford-family factory radio arrangements when paired with a compatible Axxess interface. Verify whether the Ford has a factory amplifier, SYNC features or unusual radio connections; those affect which interface system is suitable.
